Рекламна кампания коригира пет загуби по пътя към целевата аудитория

Facebook is everywhere.

It's used to sign in to sites all over the Internet, businesses use it as an online store, families use it to stay connected. The social network now practically reaches every corner of our lives in one form or another.

It is also the most powerful advertising platform in the world. A tool as powerful as Facebook advertising also creates plenty of opportunities for mistakes when setting up and managing campaigns.

Here are five Facebook advertising mistakes to avoid so you can get more from your budget:

1. Showing the same message to the same audience

Especially if you're new to Facebook marketing, it's easy to forget that it's a good idea to exclude users who have already seen an ad from your campaign. Failure to do so means that instead of reaching new users with your message, you are showing the same message to the same people

Nobody likes that. If you keep beating the same audience over the head, it will eventually hurt them.

2. Changing ads too often

Patience is a virtue, and if you change your ad too often, it may not even reach the people you want to show it to.

Having so many options on Facebook can be both a blessing and a curse. If you monitor your campaign and it hasn't done anything since you changed it five hours ago, that doesn't necessarily mean it's failing. Let the water boil without looking at it. At the beginning of the campaign, Facebook has the so-called learning phase

Give Facebook 24 to 48 hours after you make a change. It takes time for changes to take effect, and if you're constantly changing something, you're more likely to do nothing.

3. Testing everything at once

A/B testing is important

For your goals, you need to create some foundation and only then change only one thing at a time.

Where is the advertisement (placement). Photo. Title. Main text. Each item must be tested separately.

For example: Don't change the look and the title at the same time, otherwise, whatever happens, you won't know which of the changes had an effect.

4. Failing to monitor the campaign

Facebook has a great set of automation tools, and once you've done the groundwork, it can be tempting to just sit back and let the campaign run itself while you worry about other aspects of your business.

Don't.

Monitoring your campaign is key to its success. How often is it seen? How often does it convert? You have access to all the numbers you need to make sure your ad is showing the way it should

Think of it as maintenance, like checking your car's oil and tires. Make it a routine to check it every day

Being informed about how your campaign is doing is key to everything else. Be an active participant and manage your ad

5. Not analyzing campaign results

When everyday life gets you down, it's easy to forget to write everything down. Constantly monitoring the ad is a good way to prevent this.

Create a master document that tracks all of your campaigns, and during or after each one, take some time to analyze and understand what worked and what didn't.

What would you change? Include it in your next ad.

Every few months, revisit your notes

The notes from every campaign you run are a fantastic resource to go back to, and it doesn't take that much time. Invest a few minutes each time and you could save yourself many hours in the future.

Facebook advertising is a powerful tool for reaching your customer base, but in order to use it effectively, it is necessary to know the pitfalls. With these five tips, you'll be better prepared to avoid the mistakes that could derail the train.

Maximize your advertising dollars. Minimize your mistakes. And make your next campaign your best yet.
